Predi Son Jaumell Hotel Rural is a Majorcan possessió, or country estate, dating back to the 17th century. It is steeped in more than 300 years of history and was built upon an Islamic farmstead which serves as its foundations. The building has been carefully restored, taking painstaking care to conserve each stone and preserving the area that once belonged to the ancient farmstead. Different spaces, such as the stables, dairy, chapel and threshing floor, etc. were conserved and adapted to be used as parts of the hotel. That’s why, at Son Jaumell, each room, every area and all the nooks and crannies are overflowing with personality and individual character. With décor that respects tradition and the environment, complemented with an exquisite collection of Majorcan art, the interior design of Son Jaumell is truly a treat for all the senses. Das Predi Son Jaumell Hotel Rural ist ein mallorquinisches Landgut (possessió) aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Das Hotel blickt auf eine dreihundertjährige Geschichte zurück, deren Anfänge auf einem islamischen Gutshof beruhen. Bei der sorgsamen und liebevollen Renovierung des Gebäudes wurden sämtliche Teile und jeder Stein des alten Gutshofes bewahrt. Bereiche wie z. B. die ehemaligen Pferdeställe, die Käserei, die Kapelle oder die Tenne wurden beibehalten und in die Konstruktion des Hotelgebäudes integriert. Daher können Sie im Son Jaumell in jedem einzelnen Zimmer und Wohnraum bis ins kleinste Detail eine ganz eigene Persönlichkeit und den besonderen Charakter spüren.
