Still Water by Johannes Schramm
The German artist Johannes Schramm (1965, DE) is presenting his last body of works at the CCA Kunsthalle II in a show titled Still Water. As a former swimmer Schramm reveals a strong fascination for water, which is a significant and persistent object in his paintings. By displaying a wide range of scenarios, both indoor and outdoor landscapes, water rendering allows him enter a variety of pictorial resources. This show is divided in three different series: the swimming pools, the buoys and the water lilies.
The show Visto desde aquí: Obras de videoarte y video danza de las Islas Baleares shows video art and performance by local artists in Mallorca’s beautiful landscapes. The artists participating are Rosa Mascaró, Elsa Montenegro y Concha Vidal. Their choreographies are inspired by literature, music and dance. The curator for this show is Ágota Harmati.
The openings took place on the 26th September from 8pm and with free entry.
