Caballito de Mar

Countless participants of the 35th celebration of the Copa del Rey de Vela regatta stopped into the Caballito de Mar restaurant, to delight in the specialised cuisine of this classic in the Bay of Palma.
Salt-crusted sea bass, flame-grilled fish and grilled seafood platters were the most popular dishes among the sailing aficionados who took part in the regatta through Mallorca’s waters this summer.
Other favourite dishes were the foie gras and wild mushroom ravioli with parmesan shavings and porcini cream, and the different variations of huevos rotos (Spanish “broken eggs”), which included the wild mushroom scramble.
A restaurant specialised international cuisine, Caballito de Mar is located in one of the most emblematic areas of the city, alongside the Lonja fish market and fishermen’s wharf, and just steps away from the city’s main cathedral. This restaurant also has a private dining room for events and business dinners, and it is open every day.
