Getting to know the Jewish heritage

During the month of July, Mallorca Rutes offers visitors and residents alike the opportunity to see the legacy of the Jewish culture throughout the history of Palma. Working in collaboration with the Interpretation Centre of the Jewish Quarters of Palma (Maimó Ben Faraig), the company will be offering guided tours through the courtyards of the historic centre of the city and the interpretation centre. The schedule of itineraries will be offered Mondays through Saturdays in several languages (English, German, Spanish and Catalan). Advance reservations are required. For further information and reservations, please write to calljueu@gmail.com or call 971 225 599.

The Palma Town Council recently opened its Interpretation Centre, to stimulate and promote all activities related with the city’s Jewish history and culture, as well as to reinforce cultural tourism, as Palma has formed part of the Network of Spanish Jewish Quarters since 2005.
