Lang Lang at Formentor Sunset Classics

On 25 June, the famous Chinese pianist Lang Lang will be giving the opening concert of the 3rd celebration of the Formentor Sunset Classics, a concept conceived by Barceló Hotels & Resorts to enable viewers to enjoy an exclusive music event in one of the most beautiful spots on the island, Formentor.
Thirty-year-old Lang Lang has been hailed by the New York Times as the greatest classical music artist on the planet. Time Magazine included him on its list of the 100 Most Influential People in the World. Born in Shenyang (China), Lang Lang has been playing the piano since he was just three years old. He has made his way to the most prestigious stages around the world and even took part in the Opening Ceremony of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
The Formentor Sunset Classics is a 360º music experience in an incomparable backdrop that captivates and delights music lovers. Zubin Mehta, Mikhail Tatarnikov, Dama Kiri Te Kanawa and Daniel Barenboim are just a few of the great stars that have performed at this festival.
