Solar Fest and Oktoberfest

The Trui Group hosted two different festivals at the Son Fusteret Fairgrounds. The first of the two, the Solar Fest, took place on 11 and 12 September. This is the second celebration of this festival for lovers of Indie music and culture. Heading the line-up were the British group The Vaccines and the Norwegian group Kakkmaddafakka, which played alongside other popular Indie bands of today.

For the second event, Trui joined forces with the Palma Town Council and held the 5^th Oktoberfest, 17-27 September. Hence, 130 typical German tables with long benches were set up beneath a large 1875 m2 carp. As to the entertainment, a Bavarian orchestra played traditional German and international music. All bar and catering staff were dressed in traditional Bavarian clothing, offering typical German food and beer. This year’s event also included games for the most daring participants, who had the chance to win delicious prizes.
