Room refurbishment at Puro Hotel

Today, 11 years after the first building was purchased, Puro Hotel is now investing in a major improvement and conceptual evolution of the rooms and suites of that initial building. On 19 March 2016, the hotel will be re-opening its 22 remodelled rooms, a project carried out by the team of architects, engineers and interior designers of OHLAB. This architecture studio, directed by Paloma Hernaiz and Jaime Oliver, is “one of the foremost emerging architecture studios in Europe”, according to the Chicago Atheneum.
Each room will be different, with a personality of its own, while upholding the prominence of the characteristic wooden mandalas combined with a new contemporary design, yet without forsaking the Puro style, with maximum comfort and that bohemian air that this emblematic Palma hotel is known for: As they say at the Puro Hotel, “we are reinventing ourselves to offer our guests a unique experience within the walls of this 18th-century palace”.
